Using the GIS Farm View to record operations, observations and generate reports

You can use the GIS Farm View dialogue box to add a new operation, a new observation and generate reports.

To add a new operation or observation:

  1. Select GIS Farm View from the Transactions menu. The GIS Farm View dialogue box appears.
  2. Right click the desired field and select New.
  3. Depending on the type of operation or observation you want to create, select one of the following:
    • Operation
    • Harvest
    • Soil Test Observation
    • Pest Observation
    • Weather Observation
    • Other Observation
  4. When you’re done, click Close

 To add generate a report:

  1. Select GIS Farm View from the Transactions menu. The GIS Farm View dialogue box appears.
  2. Right click the desired field and select Reports.
  3. Depending on the type of reports you want to generate, select one of the following:
    • Input Usage
    • Irrigation
    • Operation History
    • Precipitation
    • Plant Density
  4. When you’re done, click Close
