Defining the main farm address

To define the main farm address (Internet connection required):
  1. Click on the Setup menu.
  2. Select Fields
  3. Click on the GIS tab.
  4. You will be prompted to define the location of your farm.
  5. Click OK.
  6. For the most accurate initial farm address, we recommend Google Maps or Google Earth to find the GIS co-ordinates that’s relatively centred for your fields.

From Google Maps:

  1. Type the physical address in the search box.
  2. Right-click in the middle of the field.
  3. Left-click on What’s here?
  4. Take latitude and longitude from Google Maps and type it in the Define Address box.

From Google Earth:

  1. Type the address in the search box.
  2. Left-click on Add Placemark  to mark the location in the middle of the field. 
  3. Take latitude and longitude from Google Earth and type it in the Define Address box. You’ll now have the address you need for the Field Setup in Field Manager PRO 360.
  4. You'll now have the address you need for the Field Setup in Field Manager PRO 360
      Note: When using the co-ordinates from Google Earth to define the main farm address, you must replace any characters for degrees, minutes and seconds with a space. The latitude and longitude must be separated by a comma.
  5. Enter the GIS co-ordinate.
      Note: Your software purchase covers 6177 acres for the farm size. If you require bigger imagery coverage, call us at 1-800-667-7893.
