Calculating deductions with the payroll function

You can set up payroll deductions on employees' cheques. If deductions aren't automatically calculated, go to Payroll>Employees.

  • Select the employee's name and click Edit.
  • Select the Pay Types, Benefits and Deductions tab.
  • Deselect "When creating a cheque for this employee, use the deductions amounts I supply rather than the built-in rates."
