Exporting Field Manager PRO records

You can export your operation data to an FMX file on your computer, and then import the information into another Field Manager PRO data file.

To export a data file to FMX:

  1. Select Export Records for Field Manager PRO from the Tools menu.
  2. Select the land area(s) you’d like to include from the list.
  3. Select the Crop Year(s) you’d like to include.
  4. Select the specific Dates you’d like to include.
  5. Click Browse to display the Export File dialogue box.
  6. Locate where you want to store the FMX file on your computer hard drive.
  7. Enter a name for your export file in the File Name field.
  8. Click Save.
  9. Select the Email Setup tab to automatically attach your FMX file to an email after it’s generated.
  10. Click Launch default email client
Note: Field Manager PRO Desktop can only attach the FMX file automatically if you use Microsoft Outlook as your email client. If you use a different email program, Field Manager PRO Desktop will launch it, but you’ll have to attach the file manually.
  11.

  12. Enter the recipient’s email address, along with an email subject and message (if you’re emailing your file). Field Manager PRO Desktop will remember what you entered in these fields the next time you open this dialogue box.
  13. Click Export on the toolbar to save the file and launch your email program if you’ve chosen that option.
