Recording a weather observation
A weather observation records the weather conditions affecting your crops on a particular day.
If the Image tab isn’t visible and you’d like to add an image, select Software Preferences from the Setup menu and click the Operation/Observation tab. You can also use this tab to record your actual start and end times.
To add a weather observation:
- Select your land from the land tree on the main dialogue box or click the icon.
- Select Enter a Weather Observation from the Records menu.
- Select the General tab.
- Enter the required information.
- To add GIS co-ordinates for your observation, click the GIS tab and enter the required information. This information is optional.
- To add an image for your observation, click the Image tab and load the image and/or draw your own sketch. This information is optional.
- To add file links to your operation, select the Links tab and enter the information. This information is optional.
- Click Save & Close.
To edit a weather observation:
- Select the land with the observation from the land tree.
- Double-click the observation or click .
- Select the General tab.
- Make your desired changes (see the above procedure for help).
- Click Save & Close.
To delete a weather observation:
- Select the land with the observation from the land tree.
- Select the observation.
- Click , press the Delete key on your keyboard or open the observation record and click on the toolbar.
