Changing your computer date settings
To change your short date settings to display the date as DD/MMM/YY:
For Windows XP:
- Close Field Manager PRO.
- Open the Start menu.
- Open the Control Panel.
- Click Regional and Language Options.
- Change your regional options from English (Canada) to English (United States).
- Click Customize.
- Click the Date tab.
- Change the Short date format to DD/MMM/YY.
- Click Apply.
- Click Apply.
For Windows Vista :
- Close Field Manager PRO.
- Open the Start menu.
- Open the Control Panel.
- Click Clock, Language, and Region.
- Click Regional and Language Options
- Ensure that your Format is English (Canada).
- Click Customize this format.
- Click the Date tab.
- Change the Short date format to DD/MMM/YY or DD/MMM/YYYY.
- Click Apply.
- Click Apply.
For Windows 7:
- Close Field Manager PRO.
- Open the Start menu.
- Open the Control Panel.
- Click Region and Language.
- Click Regional and Language Options.
- Ensure that your Format is English (Canada).
- Change the Short date format to DD/MMM/YY or DD/MMM/YYYY.
- Click Apply.
For Windows 8:
- Close Field Manager PRO.
- Open the Charm Bar.
- Click Settings.
- Click Control panel.
- Click Clock, Language, and Region.
- Click Region.
- Ensure that your Format is English (Canada).
- Change the Short date format to DD/MMM/YY or DD/MMM/YYYY.
- Click Apply.
Once you’ve applied these settings, the change will be reflected in your software the next time you open it.
